- Our team has supported disputes, mediation, expert determination(s) and arbitrations for mines, water and wastewater facilities, airports, rail, mineral processing plants, ports, roads and bridges and other associated infrastructure.
Experience
Aviation
Advised Heathrow Airport Limited on the Terminal 5 expansion project for the electrical, communications and fitout packages arising from delay accesses, availability of materials and resourcing shortages.
London 2012 Olympics
Advised the London 2012 Olympic Delivery Authority for the Central Park and Athletes Village projects on commercial disputes regarding interfacing rail entities and early work undertaken by utility providers.
Water and waste water treatment plants
Support legal proceedings between QGC and Contractor(s) in commercial, technical, risk and schedule capacities arising from delay of client supposed materials, site accesses and provision of energy supplies to a gas fired substations for commissioning purposes.
Department of Transport and Main Roads
Undertook entitlement and quantum analyses for the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing arising from design changes implemented by a Contractor.
Major Road Projects
Supported legal proceedings and dispute resolution processes between Contractor and Client organisations in Queensland including Brisbane Metro, Kingsford Smith Drive Upgrade, Legacy Way Tunnel and the Hale Street Link Alliance, and for the Fiji Delivery Authority portfolio for structural upgrade projects spanning varying islands.
Brisbane City Council
Undertook detailed commercial, technical and commercial analyses on the Riverwalk Replacement Project between Council and Contractor regarding marine and structural latent conditions. Supported mediation meeting facilitation and documentation of outcomes.
