Role: Project Management
Client: Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC)
Duration: 2018-2019

Our personnel led a BAC-Airservices group that managed the ‘Existing Runway 01/19 Rename Project’. This role included developing processes to manage updates to over 90 standard operating procedures, technical documents and systems.

Through careful research and planning we were able to manage the operational works within the runway-strip while updates were made.

This complex project was delivered on time, which allowed BAC to mitigate the risks associated with the new parallel runway opening.

Role: Technical & PMO Management
Client: Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA)
Duration: 2019 - 2020

Our team provided senior management and program management for QRA in their technical area, and the program/ portfolio management of their reconstruction works program (appx $1.2B).

We worked closely with the QRA team to develop new reporting tools, create program management frameworks and review commercial arrangements with their applicants.

This engagement included the development of a Risk Management Framework for the Authority, providing a tool for management of all program and internal business risk and opportunity.

Role: PMO & Transaction Management
Client: Brisbane City Council
Duration: 2016 – 2019

Our team worked closely with Brisbane City Council to move the project from Business Case to Transaction (18 packages for appx $1B of works). We developed project governance frameworks, undertook reporting, cost and risk management, and transaction management.

Our team coordinated the development of transaction documentation (technical and commercial), organised interactive workshops with tenderers, managed the flow of requests for clarifications from tenderers and finalised tender documents for the projects to reach contract award.

Our team were heavily involved in the client-side project and transaction management of the early works packages for major PUP relocation in Brisbane CBD and South Brisbane, and the Rochedale depot; project managing the interdisciplinary teams to investigate and develop strategies for these packages of work, and develop tender and contract documentation for these works.

Role: Project Controls Advisor
Client: Transport and Main Roads, QLD
Duration: 2015 - 2016

Our personnel provided governance, cost management, risk management and schedule reviews for the project team for the $1.9B major infrastructure project.

We undertook internal and external project reporting and supported the client where required for all project controls tasks.

Role: Cost Estimation
Client: Transurban
Duration: 2015 - 2016

Our team provided cost estimation services for completion of P50 and P90 CAPEX estimates for 14 separate alignments options between Sydney’s M1 and the Burnt Creek deviation; comprising tunnels, submerged harbour crossing tunnels, bridge and surface roadworks and associated infrastructure.

Role: Project Management / Transaction Management

We undertook cost estimates for operational and capital expenditure and worked closely with other project advisors to further develop the strategy for public release.

We led procurement of multiple professional services packages for the project, drafting all tender documentation, contract documents and evaluation materials, as well as leading the evaluation workshops.

This project saw our personnel working closely with the Cross River Rail team, and the Strategic Rail division of Transport and Main Roads, QLD – developing an Operational Readiness Strategy for Transport and Main Roads for Cross River Rail, incorporating risk management and recommendations for the department.

These projects included the detailed stakeholder management of major stakeholders, and interaction with Queensland Rail in order to keep rail lines operational, and schedule works under track possession.
