About Rod

Rod has 30 years’ experience in the life cycle of creating built environment and infrastructure assets from business case through to operations. Rod has provided strategic advice and led procurement, he has also backed this up by delivering projects and gaining firsthand experience of what makes projects successful and what are the causes of failures. Most of his career has been in leadership roles bridging the space between organisations’ technical, legal, and commercial objectives

Highlights include Rod’s role as Project Director of the Design Build Operate $2.4B Western Corridor Recycled Water Scheme, Transaction Manager and Financial Adviser on the $1.2B Ramu 2 180 MW Hydro Power Station for the Government of PNG and Senior Project Manager for $1B of desalination plants on the $20B QCLNG coal seam gas project.
